Great advice

I have spent my entire day today reading blogs for new bloggers and new writers. Since being a published author is my dream, I thought it would help to hear from people with more experience.

I was blown away with the amount of advice, encouraging words, words of wisdom, and positive motivation. With my post partem depression, I find it hard to stay focused on tasks. My mind is always all over the place. I also am a stay at home mom so my angels are always running all over the place. It’s been so nice to see that I am not alone in my struggles.

What I love most about my journey so far is that I am surrounded by like minded people. Individuals who struggle but always find their way back. After all we are all human so struggling is inevitable. It’s been so nice to get positive comments in my blogs and words of encouragement especially on the bad days.

Thank you for following my blog. I look forward to hearing more from you all. And as always, feedback is always welcome.

  1. I was a stay at home Mum and I envy modern mothers having the internet, whether you want to chat to other Mum’s and share your problems or get encouragement for other interests. Most new mothers find their minds are all over the place. Congratulate yourself if you get any writing done when you’re a busy mother.

    1. I do find that since I have made it my focus to write and follow through with my resolutions that I have very little time to do so. My oldest son goes to school so it’s just the 2 younger ones and I. But my daughter is 9 months old so my day is pretty busy with her and my 3 year old son. He does pretty good with independent play but still enjoys me playing trains and race cars with him. It’s going to take time and practice, but I’m sure I’ll get into a routine. Some days will be better than others of course.

      1. lol that’s why I blog … don’t waste forests and people can choose to read or not … if you blog from the heart it will resonate with others, we can’t compare ourselves or be perfect 🙂

  2. I hope you find the blogging community as supportive as I do! You’re definitely in good (and like) company, with many of us managing kids and work at the same time as our passion for sharing art with others. Sounds like your new year is off to a good start!

    1. Everyone has been amazingly supportive. It’s such a nice change. Usually I have to fight to justify my thoughts but here everyone is so open minded. I am definitely enjoying this journey and look forward to what the future has in store for me. I hope your year goes wonderfully and you are able to follow your goals.
